"Kicking it off was .38 Special. I had lived in a small town so I did not get to see some of my favorite bands in concert. This is one group I would have wanted to see. I had the Wild - Eyed Southern Boys album on cassette and wore it out. I loved "Hold On Loosely".
It was amazing to see Bret up and about after his health scare. He was good.
Good to know that with a band it can really take you back in time. They were amazing, stayed strong and we rocked into the night. Skynyrd was worth the wait. I literally felt like a teen again.
The crowd was into all three performances it was great. The only thing I would suggest is not to put it on Sunday nights. We had to leave before Skynyrd was done to get up for work the next day."
